Is the park open for the summer and winter months? Our park is seasonal, closing for a few weeks in the Summer during the month of August and Winter during the month of January. Our availability chart currently reflects the units that are available. Trailers are equipped for comfort and have air conditioning and space heaters.

What do the trailers come equipped with? Each trailer has bed linens, two sets of towels, dishes, utensils, coffee mugs, cups as well as a percolator with coffee. We recommend reading the trailer descriptions before booking.

Do the trailers have a refrigerator? Yes, all trailers have a small working refrigerator.

Can I cook in the trailer? No, there isn’t any cooking allowed in the trailers.

Are there grills to use? Yes, there are a few charcoal grills than can be used on a first come basis. You will need to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid.

Are there fire pits in the trailer court? We have designated areas for fires in our fire pits. Never leave a fire unattended.

Do the trailers have air conditioning? All trailers are equipped with air conditioning.

Do the trailers have heating? Yes, each trailer has space heaters.

Do the trailers have bathrooms? All of the trailers do have a small toilet and sink. We recommend reading the trailer descriptions before booking. There are full size, clean shower and bathroom facilities just steps away from the trailers.

Is ice available? Unfortunately, we do not have any ice here on site. You are welcome to bring your own in a cooler or visit on of the nearby grocery and/or gas stations.

Do you allow pets? Sorry, we do not allow pets.

Do you allow smoking? No, smoking of any kind is not permitted in the trailers. There are designated ashtrays provided outside.

Do you allow children? Young adults over 15 years of age are welcome to stay in our trailers. Dot’s Diner is open to the public during restaurant hours and children are occasionally on property during the day. We do not allow young children to stay in our trailers due to the nature of the vintage decor and items in the trailers. If you are traveling with young children give us a call to hear some options.

What is your cancellation policy? We have a 10 (ten) day cancellation policy. A reservation cancelled with less than 10 (ten) days will be charged. Reservations cancelled more than 10 (ten) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a $15 processing fee.

What time is check-in and check-out? Check-in is anytime after 3:00 p.m. Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. Late check-out is available for a fee, please ask the office about rates.

Do you have RV hook-up spaces? No, we do not provide any RV hook-up spaces or tent camping.

How many people can the trailers sleep? Each trailer can typically sleeps up to two guests. The Tiki Bus can accommodate three guests. The Kropf Trailer has two double beds and can accommodate up to four guests. We recommend reading the trailer descriptions before booking.

Can I have my wedding or an event at The Shady Dell? If you would like to have your special day at the Shady Dell, we can definitely accommodate a wedding and we can provide catering from our diner and we do have our Vintage Airstream trailer bar to provide cocktails, beer, and wine for your event.
