Booking Policy

A credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover) is required to hold a reservation. Cancellations require 10 (ten) days notice. Full amount will be charged at the time of booking this reservation. The Shady Dell is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 10 (ten) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. Reservations cancelled more than 10 days prior to the arrival date are subject to a $15 processing fee. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 10 (ten) days notice, shorten your stay or check out early a refund will not be issued. Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. A 30 day cancellation notice is required on multiple room bookings, whole house bookings, and for some holidays and special events. Check-in is anytime after 3:00 p.m. Check-out is at 11 a.m. Unless previously arranged extra fees will apply for late check-out. Rooms may be assessed for damages and guests may be charged accordingly. Smoking in a guest room is considered as damage due to the expense we incur to remove the odor. Designated outdoor areas are available for smoking. We do not allow pets in the trailers due to the vintage furnishings.

Young adults over 15 years of age are welcome to stay in our trailers. Because of the nature of the vintage items and decor, we ask that if you are traveling with younger children you contact our office. We do not allow pets in the trailers under any circumstance.

There is a noise curfew between the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Guests will be solely responsible for ensuring that all members of their party are aware of the need to monitor alcohol intake and to drink responsibly. Travel to or from the premises while intoxicated or otherwise under the influence is extremely dangerous and is strongly discouraged by The Shady Dell. Guest agrees to pay, defend, indemnify and hold harmless The Shady Dell from any and all liabilities arising from, related to or caused by the consumption of alcohol on the premises by guest and/or member of guest’s party.

The Shady Dell is not responsible for loss of any money or valuables.
